Drawing and me

A short history...

Like every little child, I had a lot of fantasy. Mostly about princesses and that sort of stuff. I loved to draw princesses with nice dresses, idyllic landscapes and so on. But I went older and stopped drawing. We somethimes had to draw something for school, but I couldn't use my fantasy enough in those works.

When I went to secondary school (12 years), I saw Star Wars for the first time. I was totally blown away, and from that moment, I knew I was an sw-fan. The more I learned about Star Wars, the more my fantasy began working again. After a couple of months I already had my own sw-character (later on she got the name Laeïda Ylena) and the beginning of a story. I never really stopped drawing since I saw Episode I, and I progressed a lot since then! Even now I can see differents between my work right now and that from 2 months ago.

I hope my art keeps evolving this way, maybe it will be real good someday :-)

My first sw-drawing: (of Laeïda Ylena, 1999)
